To solve this problem, engineers are developing ocean-cleaning robots. These smart machines use cameras, sensors, and artificial intelligence to find floating plastic. Some robots collect trash on the surface, while others explore underwater areas. They can also send useful information to scientists who study ocean pollution.
However, robots cannot solve the problem by themselves. The best solution is to reduce plastic waste before it reaches the ocean. Using reusable bags, recycling plastic, and joining beach clean-up activities are simple ways everyone can help. Technology is an important tool, but protecting the ocean is a responsibility we all share.
