Why we see different parts of the Moon
Sometimes the moon looks round. Sometimes it looks like a slice. Why?
The Moon doesn’t change its shape. We just see different parts of it because of the Sun’s light.
These changes are called phases: new moon, crescent, half moon, and full moon.
The Moon’s phases help us understand how the Sun, Earth, and Moon move.
