Why greenhouse gases are warming our planet

Our climate is changing, and the Earth is getting warmer each year.
Factories, cars, and electricity produce gases that trap heat. These gases are called greenhouse gases. When too much of them fills the air, the Earth warms up.
This warming melts ice, raises sea levels, and causes strange weather like heavy rain or long dry periods.
Small actions, like saving electricity, can help protect our planet.
